What this is

Recalled Goods is an independent publication reporting US consumer product recalls. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Food and Drug Administration, or any manufacturer or retailer named here.

Accuracy, and its limits

Every recall we publish comes from an official government record, and every post links to that record. We take care, but we summarise — and a summary can be wrong, out of date, or missing a qualification that matters.

For any recall, the official notice governs. Read it before acting, and contact the manufacturer directly. If you believe we have something wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it.

Not advice

Nothing here is legal, medical or safety advice. We report what agencies publish and what remedies manufacturers offer. We do not test products and we do not rank them.

Images

Product images are published for identification in the reporting of a safety recall. Most come from the issuing agency's own notice. Where an image is sourced elsewhere, we record the source and the date it was retrieved. If you hold rights to an image here and want it removed, write to us and we will take it down.

Affiliate links

Where a link earns us a commission we say so on the post itself, not in a disclosure buried in a menu. We never put affiliate links on a recall notice. Taking a commission next to a safety warning would undermine the only thing this publication is for.

Liability

This publication is provided as is. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it. Your remedy for a recalled product lies with the manufacturer, under the official notice.
